June 11, 1970 stay-at-home Mom carriekrogh6.blogspot.com Married 4
Randy and I live in Powder Springs, Georgia.  We have been here since our oldest son Spencer was a baby.  He is now 15 years old; then we have Gabrielle who is 13, Christiana-9, and Eliza-5.  I love being at home, but do find time to teach an occasional dance class or fitness class.  Can't wait to "boogie" with everyone at the reunion!  (By the way, my computer crashed so I couldn't put any pictures on.  I'll bring some of the "fam" at the reunion.) August 16, 1970 scientist, meditation teacher www.meditationinessex.org Single
Hello classmates! From Dunwoody HS, I went to Univ. of Michigan, then to Univ. of Maryland for grad school, studying physics. During grad school, I worked at a NASA center in the Washington DC area, and had fun and learned a lot about spacecraft and astrophysics. Along the way, I came to Buddhism, by way of the martial arts, and I finally met a really fantastic Buddhist teacher, and became a student and part time volunteer at a Buddhist Center in Washington DC. After finishing school, I went to Bell Labs in New Jersey and worked as a researcher, and continued my Buddhist practice at a center in New York City. I started teaching Buddhist meditation part time, and then in 2005, made the transition to full time Buddhist teacher, which coincided with the starting of a center in New Jersey, where I now live and teach. I am far from enlightened yet!! But I teach classes to the general public, and more committed students, and I try to help others find their path, in accordance with the tradition that I am a part of. I am also still interested in science, especially astrophysics. I am single. Never married, no kids. I'm vegetarian, and I gave up drinking some years ago. During the reunion, I will be at a Buddhist event in England, so unfortunately I cannot attend. But wonderful to be in touch! Have a great time!! Send Peter a MessageSend Peter a Message

I eventually fled north, to Alpharetta, with much of the suburbanite hoards. Now we have our own traffic where there used to be cows - remember those days when Perimeter mall had a cow field across from it? I get back to the old stomping grounds on occasion to see old friends. I'm a marketing consultant, hopping around to differing companies, helping them present better, and enjoy some community work and getting out on mountain bike and kayaking. I have extra room for those in need of a place to stay for the reunion or a visit. Feel free to catch up with me any time - lunch is on me. Send Brent a MessageSend Brent a Message

November 29, 1970 Stay at Home Mom Married 2

After attending Berry College in Rome GA, I returned to the Atlanta area and taught kindergarten in Cherokee County.  I married my husband, Michael, in 1995 and was a stay-at-home Mom with my 2 boys Mike(9) and Jackson(7) for the past 9 years.  I am currently working part-time as a substitute teacher for Fulton County while the boys are in school.  My husband is a firefighter/EMT (FAO) for the City of Atlanta as well as a fire Captain here in the City of Roswell (our home).  Guess what my boys want to be when they grow up?  I am in Dunwoody on a weekly basis visiting my Dad, who still lives in the same home.  To me, Dunwoody hasn't changed a bit.

I had a great time at the reunion and have enjoyed keeping up with many of you on Facebook.  Feel free to track me down in FBland, I'd love to hear from you.

Peace Corps Married 2

Got a letter from Cucci last week.  How did you find me?  Anyways most of you look great, some of you the same, and a couple of you I have never seen in my life.  I joined the peace corps after high school and still serve today part time (2 1/2 years to retire).  I am married to a wonderful girl and we have two boys that keep us very busy.  We live in sunny Florida and may head up for the reunion.

Since posting the above I have recieved quite a few emails and most people seem to want to know (1) why do you seem to be holding a gun if you are in the Peace Corps and (2) how do you live in Florida if you are in the Peace Corps.  Well I am holding a gun, but as most of you remember last year the Peace Corps was actively involved in the Panamanian Pollo Loco crisis where we fought rabid chickens that were attacking small children in the village I served.  It was originally thought to be the work of El Chupacabra, but turned out to be a half dozen chickens.  Secondly I am in Florida now working on Operation Opulance to Oranges.  It is basically a program where we are teaching all those affected by the down turn in the real estate market to farm oranges.  We train realtors, builders, bankers etc. to pick oranges.

July 25, 1970 Professional Organizer Married
After staying in VA for a few years after Univ. of Richmond, I moved to Seattle 14 years ago (never to return to the South, it seems.)  Married Riley, a local boy, in 2004. We both have our own businesses these days; I'm an organizer & freelance assistant (I left corporate marketing & PR in 2000), and Riley produces travel television shows.  We're still enjoying our child-free zone; lots of time with friends & getting outside & traveling the world. This site has been great -- I'm looking forward to the reunion! Send Amy a MessageSend Amy a Message

full time mom/part time office manager Married 2

After DHS and FSU, I lived in Atlanta and worked in retail management for several years.  During that time I met my husband Tommy(a fellow Nole) and he dragged me back to his hometown of Coral Gables,FL.  After a couple of years here, I quit retail and became the office manager for my husband's chiropractic office.
We have been married for almost 10 years and have two wonderful boys.  Zach is 5 and Kyle will be 2 in July.   I miss Atlanta, but we visit a couple of times a year and once I drive in Atlanta traffic, I don't miss it so much any more!
