Consignment Sale Owner/stay-at-home mom www.lakidsconsignment.com Married 2
After Ga Tech I got a Masters at Thunderbird in Arizona.  Then got a job in Los Angeles.  Met my hubby Shawn there and never left (married almost 11 years).  I worked in marketing for several toy companies before having my 2 sons - Connor (5) & Cooper (1.5).  Now I stay home with the boys and also run a large children's consignment sale business in LA.

Wow - my memory must be bad - I can barely recognize everyone from the "Then" pictures let alone the "now" pictures!

March 11, 1970 Island Walk Construction Married 3
Hey everyone!!!! It has been so much fun reading about where everyone is now.  After Dunwoody, I went to the University of South Carolina.  I met my husband Tom during the end of our junior year.  We have been married for almost 13 years and have twin daughters Ashley and Taylor who are 9 and little Thomas who is 3.  We live in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina which is one bridge away from Charleston.  Our girl's are very busy with sports with soccer being their true love.  So I believe I am a true soccer mom.  My husband and I own a construction company.  He builds the houses and I decorate them.  We spend our free time attending all of the Gamecock football games, playing tennis and going to the beach.  We are so excited to get back to Atlanta for a visit.  Coach Donally is my neighbor.  I need to make sure he knows about the reunion.  Can't wait to catch up with everyone.  Thanks to the committee for all of your hard work! Great site guys - thanks for doing this.  Twenty years sounds like such a long time and definitely doesn't feel like it.  Haven't left the ATL-although I say I'm leaving every time I get stuck on I85.  Went to UGA for undergrad & grad school and now working at a great job that has nothing to do with either degrees - but it's only my third career.  I have a wonderful but wacky fiance, Dwight and three brilliant four-legged children - Sammi, Tiffi & Eli.  Can't wait to see everyone.

August 27, 1970 Mom Married 3
Posted 8-2012
After leaving Dunwoody High to attend Open Cannibus, I mean Open Campus, in spring of our junior year. I did manage to graduate on time, and continued to further my education at The University of Dunwoody aka Dekalb College. Basically relearning what I slept thru in High School. I then followed my passion for creativity and went to beauty school. I had a fulfilling career as a Hair stylist for 8 years, before having my first child. My Husband Todd and I have been married 18 years.  I'm a stay at home Mom now to 3 boys 13, 9, and,6. After living in Johns Creek for 11 years, we have relocated to beautiful Loganville, GA. You might say...where's Loganville? It is on the east side, totally new way of life for us. We are thankful for what is important in life, and the financial lessons this economic depression has taught our generation. Real estate isn't always profitable, you can pay with cash anywhere, and is cable tv really worth 300$ a month?I am older and wiser now and dreading the teen years, AGAIN! I feel like it might be payback time for me for all the concerts, cigarettes, and in-house. I look forward to seeing everyone at the events upcoming.

Becky Parsons
Program Manager Single

Wow - it's great to see everyone's info!

I went to GT in mechanical engineering after DHS and then moved to West Palm Beach to work for Motorola.  Shockingly, I got tired of living there and moved back to Atlanta in 97 to be closer to family and friends.  Got my masters in technology management at GT while I was working here for NCR.

I am now living in Atlanta (Duluth) and working in Norcross as an engineering program manager for another technology company.  I spend a bunch of time playing with my two lab mutts and hanging out at the lake.  I moved into a '70s house in Duluth about two years ago so lots of my free time is spent renovating and keeping up with the huge yard.

Can't wait to see everyone at the reunion!
